Bob Iger doesn't need to keep an eye on how things are handled at Lucasfilm, when he has a capacity like Kathleen Kennedy running the company for him. Same goes for Marvel and Pixar.

He's being sarcastic. Disney's a huge company and although Disney may be big on synergy, each business area is unique and its divisions are just as unique within them. Disney Channel shows are very different (quality wise and content wise) from ABC Studios (formerly Touchstone Television) shows. Yet they're all part of the Disney Media Networks business area, rather than the Studio Entertainment business area (which Walt Disney Pictures live action production, WDAS, Pixar, Marvel Studios, and Lucasfilm are part of).

It was even impossible for Disney avoiding spoilers, since they leaked merchandise early when it shouldn't have been. There will always be slip-ups. But as of right now the wait is over, at least in the UK, so you may want to avoid this Thread as soon as possible.

I think the mod staff should consider making a second thread for this. One for people who haven't seen it and one for people who have and then merge it after it's been out for a few weeks.

I just called my theatre, to ask how they were handling the crowd. He advised I get there as early as possible, as there will be eight 7pm showings with 8 lines.
They have sectioned off two areas to handle four lines each.
My group will be taking rotations standing in line, with the group waiting at DuClaw right across the mall from the theatre!
