Let's see, better script, better acting, characters you really care about. Yeah....umm you lose.

[Show spoiler]the opening scene was so lame and lacking in excitement compared to previous Star Wars films,

Saw it last night and again first thing this morning. Sitting in theater waiting for my 3rd viewing and I'm excited to see it. That's the best endorsement I can give.

One thing I disagree with most fans on is their love for John William's score in the prequels. To me it always felt too heavy, like it was injected with steroids. I love epic music, but when searching for original music (stuff that isn't from a movie like Two Steps from Hell, Epic Score, or Future World Music), the problem I have most with is the overuse of choir overtures, and its why I don't really care for tracks like Duel of the Fates. John Williams brought it down to Original Trilogy levels for this movie, and it was a welcome return.

Well when you have stuff buzzing around on every square inch of the screen like in the prequels you need a bombastic score.

I thought Duel of Fates was incredible, to go with the best lightsaber battle in all 7 films, IMO.

Was "his" response to me, or nah? I was away from the thread to know for sure.

In case it was, no I wasn't mad, since I had seen the film this morning. I just felt that it was in very poor taste to spoil a movie for those who hadn't seen it yet.

Attack of the Clones (my least favorite) had a minimal score.

If you look between the lines you can clearly see that it comes back in the fight with Ren. In the moment she close her eyes and then came out fighting. Also right after that fight she meets up with Lea and you tell in that they recognised each other and hugged for her loss. This was not two strangers meeting for the first time. Lea walked right past everyone else to get to Rey. Han didn't know her so clearly han had left lea in the build up of Rey memory block.
Yeah but
[Show spoiler]she literally did nothing involving the force from that point on. So I am not sure why you would say it comes back in that fight when she closes her eyes. That was literally the last thing she did. Prior to that (a good deal prior) she used Jedi mind tricks, read Ren's mind, and force pulled the saber. If anything her "powers came back" when she grabbed the saber that first time.

For those who haven't seen the movie, don't click this spoiler. It's a screenshot of a post from a banned member posting spoilers of the movie on a new account. I want this sucker IP Blocked.

I love it when a banned member returns with sock puppet accounts. Like the butt hurt is so good, the fact that this is the most productive thing to do with their time is just so sour and pathetic.
