Ernest Rister: She was spotted seemingly scoring some nose-candy. Right after, she quickly ducked-down in her car and came back up. This is all open to interpretation, but it really doesn't look good for her. She has made no secret of her previous substace abuses, and it's accepted that drug use makes weight-loss easier.

Well, not easier -- your body has no choice. Hope it isn't true, though.

Just trying to phrase it in a more upbeat fashion. Someone went up to her car just after she popped back up from doing whatever it was she was up to, and bluntly asked her if she was back on the coke again, to which she blithely replied: "No, darling", so who knows what's going on with that.

It's the kind of story The Sun wouldn't have printed a year ago, as Murdoch would have squashed it, but now that Disney is running the franchise, they have no problems with it.

I remember when the role of older Anakin was being cast for Episode 2 and there were internet rumours flying that Leo DeCaprio was being considered. At the time it was thought that he looked a lot like an older Jake Lloyd and the SW fanboys were going ballistic about it....then George Lucas blessed us all with Hayden Christensen! Fanboys should be careful for what they wish for! In hindsight I would have gladly taken Leo DeCaprio! Zac Efron can act! I wouldn't mind seeing him cast in the least.

Meanwhile, most seemed to like Monsters University, which I felt a bit formulaic and snarky. Hardly crappier and crappier from where I sit -- just some split opinions. Stanley Kubrick didn't bat 1000, no filmmaker or production company with decades under their belt ever has. Michael Jordan didn't sink every basket. These people aren't "gods", they're humans.

Disney owned the sequel rights to the Pixar films under the original contract, Disney agreed to acquire Pixar, and rather than Disney making the Toy Story, Cars, Monsters Inc., and Finding Nemo sequels, Lasseter tasked Pixar with creating those sequels themselves. There are no sequel plans after Finding Dory, and you'll be seeing more original content -- and its funny that the one sequel fans have clamored over for years -- The Incredibles 2 -- looks less and less likely with each passing year. Maybe if Tomorrowland tanks, we'll see Bird come back to it. But that will be Bird's decision, not Disney's.
As a father of a 3 year old, my biggest issue with Cars 2 in comparison with Cars 1 is that I felt Cars 1 actually had heart. It told a great heart-warming story and was virtually non violent. Then came Cars 2 that had very little in terms of heart, it was chock full of gun play, death, espionage, etc and had very little of what the Cars universe is about....racing! The direction they took that universe just completely lost me!

I dont mind sequels as long as there's still a story to tell. But Cars 2 felt to me like a complete cash grab and an excuse to sell toys! I believe it was Lasseter that was once quoted as saying "Other studios make movies to make money. We make money to make movies." Ever since the Disney acquisition Pixar just doesn't seem that way to me anymore. I hope they prove me wrong.

EXCLUSIVE: Source Update On STAR WARS EPISODE VII ! Casting, The Twins And TWO More Indys !!

Here's the latest and greatest about the state of affairs regarding STAR WARS: EPISODE VII ! This all comes from my top STAR WARS source - the one who gave us the news that Lucas was planing a third trilogy in 3D (back in 2009), and that Lucas would not be directing. Quite frankly, I think he's been the top STAR WARS source for advance news for at least the past 5 years.

Here's what my source had to say about some of who will wind up being cast:
"Ian McDiarmid, Harrison Ford (our exclusive story), Carrie Fisher (our exclusive story), Mark Hamill (our exclusive story), Billy Dee Williams, Anthony Daniels, Warwick Davies, Benedict Cumberbatch and Gary Oldman. I believe Cumberbatch and Oldman were pursued for the same role, but I don't know how that will work out with the script changes, but I'm told they are both involved."
- So yeah, Cumberbatch and Oldman too potentially. Awesome casting if all goes well.

"Regarding Harrison Ford, two more Indiana Jones features are in the negotiation stages as per Ford's contract clause on Star Wars, which is the primary reason he didn't 'publicly' or 'privately' commit, or so I'm told."
- There you go guys - TWO more Indiana Jones movies being planned, not just one. I'll try to get more info on this asap.

"Many Star Wars pre-production issues, an 'inadequate' central story which nobody would stamp off on, a problematic initial release date and an 'indecisive' director (J.J. Abrams) with the hardest gig in the industry. It's not going to be a cakewalk, but it will be a product shipping with the majority of its original parts."
- Confirmation of the current state of things.

"Ultimately it's about twins, and which will take a path towards darkness and which will follow in their fathers footsteps, or at least that is what it used to be, that may come later as I think changes are being undertaken to bring the original cast into the forefront of the story leading to ramifications that lead up to the next generation of Skywalkers."
- So we could be seeing an evolution of the story with the availability and willingness of the original cast plus the fact the Abrams is notorious for changing dogma (*ahem* STAR TREK). When Lucas handed Disney the keys to STAR WARS I believe that dogma was intact but now it seems changes may be afoot. We'll see. In the meantime, MarketSaw will continue to be your best site for advance news on the STAR WARS sequels. I have 100% confidence in this source. If he says it's happening, it is happening. Right now. Of course things could change especially with JJ at the helm, but as of this very second - this news is up to date.

I still say that they shouldn't have done a direct continuation of the current saga. It should have been something that took place many many years prior during the old republic or far far into the future completely unrelated to the Skywalker family!

Ultimately, it should always come back to the Skywalker bloodline as that's always been the theme of the whole saga. The prophecy, Anakin and Luke.
With evil arising from the Solo's or a new threat, there should be a Skywalker to stand against it. To go off in any other direction now wouldn't fit with the storyline.

I had a dream last night about Episode VII... I think now that I could give some creative direction to this film next to the writers, Abrams and Lucas...

Y'all listening? I got some great ideas!!!!!!!

Oldman is about 1000x better than Cumberbatch so I w hope he gets the role or maybe they can find a smaller (or voice) role for Cumberbatch.
Maybe he can play a new "Darth" character.

Very happy Warwick Davis is coming back as well.
Hope he has a good role/

No worries man-- didn't you hear Disney's plans way back when the deal first took place? There are gonna be like, a bajillion Star Wars movies now

I wouldn't be surprised to see an Old Republic film and plenty of other characters and places in the Star Wars universe. But Episode VII, VIII, and IX should definitely be focused on continuing the current Skywalker saga and characters.

Exactly, all movies with Episode numbers should be about the Skywalker family. The spin-offs will take care of all other stories/timeline.

I'm just not all that interested in a good brother/bad brother story line. That's "Dallas" in space!

Maybe the new episode takes place on planet Southfork, and they use 'Force oil...'
