Imagine Lucas writing Yoda in Empire...

That's one of my major gripes with the prequels... the backwards speech of Yoda! It added flavor to his dialogue in the OT, but as you said, it wasn't every. Single. Sentence! It's unbearable sometimes.

No doubt. I still think that X-Men 2 has the most convincing special effects of its franchise. The Matrix, Harry Potter (esp 2 and 3), Spider-man 1 and 2, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean and plenty of other heavy SFX films/franchises from that era still hold up quite nicely.

Probably the desaturated color scheme employed for the cinematography, but I think the CGI in Minority Report and War of the Worlds are excellent.

Another classic quote from AOTC, right up there with the Anakin sand line to Padme.

I kinda wish they were filming all three films back to back. And I hope the original cast is in all of them, but I get the feeling they are going to grant Ford's wish from way back on the set of ROTJ and axe his character at some point in this film.

The EU has been deemed as non-canon, so they can do whatever they want with the main characters...

I actually did not know Han had been killed in the EU. I just know Ford thought his character should have died at the end of ROTJ while filming.

I think that's pretty much what everyone expects. Especially since he seems to have such a big part in this first film, there's a good chance he's starring here and then not even in the other two

There were a lot of things wrong with the last Indiana Jones movie, but Ford was not one of them. He was fine. It was all about the awful story and script, and that's all on Lucas.

Misdirection...I think Luke is going down, and Ford will get a spin-off movie.
