Different voices. Were any of the stormtroopers even voiced by the Fett/clone actor in the OT (Special Edition)?

I guess that explains his racist "little green friend" comment in ROTS.

With everyone talking about the stormtroopers, the lightsaber and the Millennium Falcon, the part that caught my attention the most is that little droid. He looks so Star Wars!

I didn't see them in theaters, I didn't watch any of the Star Wars films in full until a few years ago. And I didn't really like any of them... So, I need to see more of what J.J. Abrams has done with it to decide if I want to see it in theaters or not. He made me a fan of Star Trek. Well, his Star Trek... Maybe I'll become a fan of his Star Wars.

I thought the trailer looked good; I was looking forward to the movie and still looking forward to the movie. Not looking forward to a whole year of reading senseless bickering.

Stars Wars is back, that's all I care about. I thought the sweeping shot of the Falcon was epic with the score!

The one bit that caught my attention were the shots of the stormtroopers in the ship. I don't think we've ever seen them in that kind of visual style before.

For those saying the use of CG makes this look "just like the PT", I seriously have to question if you've ever actually seen the prequels.

I think that lightsaber isn't a lightsaber, but a light whip.

Yeah, that shot of the Falcon was cool but why the roll? What is up with that ball droid? Just in that trailer there were a lot of "look what we can do with cgi" shots - will the movie be like that? Like I said, wait and see but the trailer really didn't do anything to impress me.
a great deal of the film will be shot with traditional models, that was a promise from over a year ago.

Awesome teaser! Great idea to show the new faces instead of familiar ones. The shots of the X-Wings, stormies, and Falcon were sweet.

The problem with the CGI in the PT ultimately wasn't the CGI, but that it looked gimmicky and sterile. Its almost ten years since ROTS, and I'm not worried about it at all.

Looks great and it has that Abrams style of film making in the trailer...

Abrams mentioned that the use of CGI will be at a minimum and more traditional special effects will be used. Can you imagine a look and feel like the originals? Wow, count me in.

I had high hopes that the Empire would still have a presence at least in this first film. That seemed something they wanted to show us with the stormtroopers and tie fighters. It just wouldn't make any sense if there was nothing left.
Now we just need to know who's leading them.

Right?! I mean even the walls and floors were cg in the pt. also to be clear, the crew said they were using practical "sets". It was never once saîd that cgi would be avoided.

Also as to the bickering about storm troopers being human or clones... They were humans in our minds first then the prequels introduced the "clone trooper" not a "storm trooper"

They would not say, sorry man you are not a clone so you can't fight for the empire.

I think now we are supposed to accept that they are a mix of both more than likely.
