True but it's not like the rest of them are just going to give up and go home. There was bound to be admirals and generals with whole fleets maintaining control of other systems so they still had enough to, shall we say, rebel against the rebellion.

A little late to the party but that light sabre...ummm although it may look cool the impracticality of it makes it amusing. You would cut yourself wielding it. Score 1st dumb move for the director.

The good thing about the clone wars cartoons is that the Stormtroopers are pretty awesome soldiers. In the OT, they just look good (same with Boba Fett) - they look bad-ass but were inefficient soldiers.

When I saw them in the trailer I had the impression that these new Stormtroopers would be more like tactical soldiers. The original ones ran like they were half robotic.

You know what. I don't disagree that just looking at it ... It doesn't look practical. But I had a hard look at it and am now convinced it is more like a Conan the Barbarian type Sword light saber. Designed for power, probably to cut through other light sabers. Thus I am assuming the two mini blades coming out the side are actually venting for the one mega power blade. I am confident we are all going to be surprised to see this thing in action.

It's interesting that the Stormtroopers have new uniforms, so I wonder if the Empire still has some hold in the Galaxy or the Rebels failed to establish a new order.
