Default Potential 4chan Episode VII Leak Part 3:

Final part of reddit.com leaked info.

[Show spoiler]

Deak is John Boyega's character.

Montross is Max Von Sydow's character. He is not Bail Organa.

Montross may be a codename renamed in Spoiler Man's version of the script. Concept art and low hierarchy crew scripts are renamed and sometimes jumbled up.

No character is in any way related to Count Dooku.

Opuchi is Andy Serkis' character.

Spoiler Man's favorite aspect of the film is the new cast. He says that they're "better than the originals," and that Oscar Isaac, Gleeson, Ridley and Boyega are "REAL ACTORS" that are legitimately good.

There is a scene in which Boyega's character, Deak, refuses to incincerate innocent villagers.

Adam Driver's character seems pretty normal until we learn about his obsession with the Sith.

Daisy Ridley does not wear any revealing outfits.

Han does not have any Force-sensitivity.

In Spoiler Man's script, Lupita Nyong'o is human, but his coworkers have claimed that she may have been turned into an alien. Regardless, she is still Boyega's eventual love interest.

Pip Anderson (who plays a peripheral character) was hired specifically for his acrobatic skill.

The Force is more potent this time around, and general acrobatics less so.

There are clones in the film.

Spaceships have a derelict look about them. The timegap between episodes have not changed them much, and they're still described as "80's angular".

No Super Star Destroyers, but plenty of regular Star Destroyers. The opening involves one in some capacity.

They are aiming for 115-120 minutes for length. Even though the movie will be shown digitally, they cannot exceed 6 reels of film. They want to avoid high VPF (virtual print fees).

The script has many derivative names. Apparently the name "Kane" was proposed and shot down.

Now that the possible name of Sydow's character (MONTROSS) may have been revealed i have done a little digging and lo and behold here is the info on Montross.
NOTE** HE IS LEFT TO BE MUTILATED BY SOMETHING..PROBABLY SURVIVES AND THAT'S WHERE HIS PROSTHETICS COME INTO PLAY.

I will highlight some info from Montross's early drafts...

A character named Montross Holdaack appears in the second screenplay draft of The Star Wars from January 28, 1975. This Montross is the science officer on board a ship run by Jabba the Hutt and Oxus, and is friends with Han Solo. Solo steals the ship by faking a reactor overload, causing everyone to flee, and keeps Montross and Chewbacca on as his crew; they later help transport Luke Starkiller and his two droids, coming to his rescue in the film's climax. In this draft, (Montross is almost all robotic, with only his right arm and head organic) the name of an Imperial officer from the rough draft.

Sound familiar???I think we have our answer.

From that Reddit piece...

"JJ has very high degree of paranoia regarding leaks. Spoiler Man contends that JJ himself is "the only reason the whole plot hasn't been revealed yet," and that the Disney oversight trusts him in keeping spoilers from becoming rampant until the Fall of next year.

JJ has apparently been given a blank authority cheque from Disney.

JJ is said to have great disdain for the prequels. A rumor circulates LucasFilm that he told Kathleen Kennedy "[George] literally betrayed and murdered his past achievements".

Despite that, JJ is said to have paid "lip service" to George previously. Lip service means giving someone approval and/or support.

Lucas is sympathetically tolerated and venerated, but also "lampooned" for "murdering the prequels". Bad Robot loathes him."

I'm calling BS on Abrams telling Kathleen Kennedy that Lucas betrayed and murdered his past achievements. Who else would be in the room to a) overhear that, and then b) blab it out?

None of the prequels are as good as the original trilogy, but this was a very fun film IMHO.
Poor Jake Lloyd has had to carry the burden of hateful fans throughout the PT, which is hugely blown out of proportions. The poor kid has suffered in real life and hates Star Wars because of it. IMO, Hayden Christenson was really the only bad live actor in the prequels for me, but having rewatched all of the saga on BR recently, I've decided most of the bad scenes can be attributed to the writing and dialog. Maybe somebody else could have pulled off all the whiny parts successfully (couldn't have been any less annoying I'd think), but Hayden played a good padawan, who just happened to be heading towards a path to the dark side. The bits with Padme were difficult to endure, as others have pointed out, though much more bearable with eyes pointed on her side of the screen, and ears turned off to the dialog. The jedi parts, sword fighting, and more were all quite good on Hayden's part though, and if you just delete all of the love story and whiny parts, it's a great (well, much more enjoyable) film.

I agree with this. If you've ever read the Darth Bane books (I know the EU is no longer canon) you know that the key to immortality might not mean you live in the same form forever. Sidious thought to have killed him but he may have survived.

Montross sadly was completely cut from the story...

"The fourth draft, dated January 1, 1976, sees larger changes. Montross is now an Imperial bureaucrat, replacing the character of Jabba, who tells Solo that the Mos Eisley spaceport is closed under Imperial decree; Solo has to outwit him to take off. Actor Richard LeParmentier was originally considered for that part, but Montross was ultimately cut from the script, and LeParmentier received the role of Admiral Conan Antonio Motti."

There was NOTHING wrong with Jake Lloyd's performance, on his part. He was a cute kid, played the innocent thing well, and did as good a job as any child actor his age. The role may not have been fleshed out or directed well, but I get the sense he did exactly as directed.

And when I say Hayden at his worst, I'm pretty much talking about the whining and sad-sack attitude. Again, I'm not entirely convinced its all on him because I've seen Hayden in other films and he was fine in them. So he either got much better real fast, or the fault isn't entirely on him.

Portman...she was horrible in these films. Her belly shirt in Ep 2 was the only redeeming quality to her performance. But, I'm not really a fan of her and think she's the female version of Tom Cruise--good by surprise, but generally there because of the name and because she's pleasing (for men..and I suppose some women) to look at.

So I am guessing "Montross" is just a wink wink placeholder name for an established character with connections to Han in some way.

I'm going crazy with this to the point that im just gonna assume the source is bs to make my life easier...

Um,

Because some of us LOVE Star Wars.
I guess you could call us Star Wars fans.
