As much as I love Aaron Paul I'd personally love to see Chris Pratt play a young Han Solo.

I'd take McGreggor doing a Kenobi movie set between III and IV in a heartbeat. You could have a fantastic story that doesn't involve jedis, Sith, the empire, the rebellion, or anyone named Skywalker.

Yup, I didn't consider ford to be hammy in most of his scenes, maybe a few, at least in the first one.

Nice attempt but those likenesses are diabolical, Han looks like Marv from Sin City.

By touch you mean "ripping off one of the greatest poster artists ever" then yeah...he's got the "touch".

And? What's the problem with that? I said in the Rollerball thread that I'd take a genuine Drew clone in lieu of anything else, and that guy's good, real good. The thing about imitating Struzan's deceptively simple style is that you've got to have a razor-sharp eye for likenesses, but unfortunately everyone on that fan poster either looks freaky-deaky or is utterly unrecognisable. That looks like Jeff Bridges under the hood.

Still, it's better than the diabolical art on the actual Blu-ray packaging for the Saga Collection, so that guy's already got one up on Lucasfilm.

If I ever need to stay up throughout the night I usually take a quick gander at Princess Leia in that artwork. It keeps me alert like a 6-pack of Red Bull.

That fan art is nice but only the droids and Chewie look authentic and I hazard a guess they're recycled from artwork or stills I've seen before.

Can you airbrush a perfect likeness and immortalize a character as perfectly as Struzan? I think it was Spielberg who said that you could make a poster using the images that Struzan draws from and compare it to a Struzan painting and it will pair in comparison because the live action shots just don't pop tell you anything about the character.

I admit, that other guy is good, Geoff and in lieu of Struzan coming back, he would do fine. I think Struzan said he would come back though, so it's moot.
