Hopefully Yoda plays a pivotal role as Obi Wan did in Star Wars New Hope as a spirit guide. I wonder if Yoda had any kids that could appear in Star Wars VII?

While I agree that new stories are more exciting, I wouldn't mind seeing Darth Vader in full black helmet and uniform for an entire new pre-New Hope film showing how he continued his conquests as Obi Wan tried to find ways to stop him over the years.
Ewan McGregor was a solid Obi Wan IMO, though hopefully James Earl Jones could reprise his role as the voice of Vader for another film. Maybe this is part of the planned spin off Star Wars movies?

If they recast him, it's not Wedge is it? You won't be seeing Wedge in EpViii unless Lawson is pulling the wool over our eyes and is making a sneaky cameo appearance. But honestly, so what if he's in it or not. A major character, he is not!

He's one of the greatest characters in the entire SW universe, and, in some circles, even trumps Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker.

Not confused at all. I know Luke and Vader are much better characters than Wedge. That's no slight against Wedge, he's just a minor character, and never got enough screen time.
