The folks over at ikwiz via the Hashtag show have leaked what appears to be the first full glimpse of Princess Leia (is it still “princess”?) from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Well today’s leak from The Hashtag Show actually referenced Jason’s drawings and then released images from what they are calling a wardrobe fitting with Carrie Fisher:

Notice anything familiar??? Yep that's Leia we see being handed Luke's lightsaber...not Rey.

I called remember that come December 18th!!

Well, I think Luke's voiceover "My sister has it." made it pretty obvious who that's supposed to be.

Those cosmetics have got quotes from the movies on, it doesn't take a genius to work out that some must from the new movie: "I will finish what you started" and "Immune to the light" are two that I can see, along with "There has been an awakening" which we heard in the first teaser.

I wasn't a fan of Star Wars when I was a kid. I missed all the hype and had other things to distract my attention in the late '80s, it was the Special Editions that got me into Star Wars. So you could say it's my 17-year-old self talking, not my childhood, when I start geeking out about the new movie.

I know it's only one little clip but it really is Han standing there, not Harrison Ford going through the motions *cough* Indy 4 *cough*. If he does pull off the performance it'll make

Actually though, I noticed Ackbar's neck is wrinklier... or maybe "wrinkly" is the wrong word, it at least has those folds in it. If that design touch was intentional, as a way of aging him, that's a pretty cool little detail.

Anyone think they should drop the A Long Time Ago from the new movies just so if they wanted they could one day come to Earth ? just wondering . If I owned Star Wars that is what I would do just to open up more possibilities .

No, keep them away from Earth. Otherwise it ruins the fantasy aspect of the movies. It could be BSG 1980 all over again.

I still fantasize about a possible Trek/Wars crossover, but that's probably better left to our imaginations rather than put on the big screen at all.
