Kevin Smith called B.S. that Disney won't be showing any new TFA footage at Comic Con and bet someone ten grand that they do:

Ya know, I kind of agree. Seeing how violent it's gotten just for the line to get the six inch Stormtrooper, I don't think Disney would want people getting murdered over seeing new footage. Saying there's none dissuades people from tying to go, and has the line for Hall H a little bit more tamed.

I too would be surprised if Disney didn't show a new trailer. I imagine they will show a longer trailer, followed by one around October, then show TV spots.

I could almost bet (not a gamling man

) that they'd show a scene or two, followed by a quick trailer-like montage, maybe with a sneak peak at Luke or Leia, but who knows.

I would like to see a clip instead, a conversation, a whole scene maybe. Just to get the feel of it.

It would baffle me if they did not show any new footage. This is the audience that these films are geared towards.

I am interested to see if Harrison Ford shows up.
