I haven't been this excited over a Star Wars soundtrack since TPM back in '99 (and that was a pretty awesome score imo, it was one of those things that sticks out to me that made that summer feel special).

My sister just asked me this question and I don't know the answer: does Lucas make any $$ off of this anymore? Or does Disney own it 100% and he gets nothing?

Lucas took 50% in cash and 50% in stock, so he still makes money off of it.

Albeit indirectly. Thanks! I didn't know what exactly happened with that. I mean, granted, he doesn't need the $$$ in the least but, with this influx of merchandise, I was wondering what of it he would see.

Yeah, he pulled a Steve Jobs taking cash and stock. That way any property made under LucasFilm or with ILM will still bring him back-end money.

The reality is that he doesn't need it, at this point. According to wiki, he's worth $5 billion. And, considering he had the merchandising rights since the very beginning, it's not like he's destitute.
