I think if The Phantom Menace did $1B in 1999, 2 Billion isn't a huge stretch for The Force Awakens. It's amazing how well Avatar did overseas with over $2B, Jurassic World has done half that.

If everything goes to plan I think The Force Awakens will certainly break into the top 3 All Time, but it will have to have some serious legs to get anywhere near number one.

It'll hit $2 billion, if only just. But beating Avatar is just not going to happen. Expectations like that are going to get this movie labelled a "disappointment."

Indy and Star Wars on Netflix is nice. Might go see II and III theatrically, already saw Episode I again during the 3D release.

Yeah, those are the ones I grew up with and saw when they first came out. I get some of the criticism against them but I think most of it is overblown, I'll always love em.

If the honor system of owning the official blu-ray's is adhered to (and let's be honest, MOST of those fan enough to post on any Star Wars forum OWNS THEM), and someone wants to watch the unaltered originals in the highest quality available possible, more power to them. I own the official "Complete Saga" and I'll be watching the Despecialized Editions before going out to see Force Awakens too.
