Sure, I knew what Lucas was going for but, as with so many creative decisions he made with the prequels, what was probably awesomely clever in Lucas' head just didn't translate that well into cinematic excitement for me.

Hell, at least he could've put it into Ep III because that one was the closest link to the OT in some ways (golden Threepio, star destroyer opening shot etc) but nope, not a sausage. I wanted my hyperspace effect, dammit!! Now I've got it back, and I couldn't be happier. Eeeeeek!

Cool. I imagine this will be a great movie getting back to what makes Star Wars great.

The tone of this trailer is dark, but inspiring too, especially what sounds like Leia's line at the end, "Just let it in" referring to the Force.

Luke's absence in the 3rd Star Wars VII Trailer:
My guess would be Luke might become
[Show spoiler]part of the Force (with Yoda and Kenobi) and that might be the reason he's not shown, to avoid spoiling it.

Thing I don't quite get is solar panels are black (dark-colored) to absorb as much of the light spectrum as possible. White reflects light energy. Looks kewl but makes no sense.

It's science fiction! Maybe in a galaxy far far away white solar panels work differently than they do in this very real world.

That voiceover throughout the trailer was actually Lupita Nyong'o's character Maz Kanata.

Maybe the panels are FORCE-resistant.

Suggest giving the original trilogy a spin. You might not like it as much as thers but should be entertaining to you.

I wish someone mashed together all three trailers into one epic trailer.

If someone has that ability, please do that for me

Thank you!

I could, but I just got done with this:

I loved how Han talked about the past, almost putting the original trilogy on some kind of mythical level, so I included a bunch of clips in all the relevant places. Enjoy!

I watched Attack the Block last night for the first time. John's no stranger to using a sword.

I love how the Jedi didn't become this huge thing again after the Emperor was killed. Everything was forgotten about. No new golden age for the Republic or anything we assumed.

That was extremely well done! I don't mind waiting because I know these projects take some time to do so if you get a chance, I'd greatly appreciate it

Awesome. I'm trying not to watch it too much. I don't want anything to get "stale," even though it's just two minutes out of a 136 minute movie.

Thank you! I dunno if I'd have time to do that, but I'm sure someone is going to do it at some point in the near future, if they haven't already
