Here in Atlanta, we have the Dragon*con convention every Labor Day Weekend. I've never been to one before, but I have several friends who go every year and who spend the whole weekend posting their photos to Facebook.

The slave Leia outfits are jokingly referred to as the "tramp stamps of Dragon*con" by all of these friends. Each year, there are about 40 or 50 women dressed in the slave Leia outfits, and they all pose together for photos. It's pretty funny.

They must be thinking "there's safety in numbers", I guess...but putting themselves on near-full display is still risky. After all, its a public place with tons of people; more than a few creeps are likely to walk in the door. I don't have the body to wear any kind of "macho" attire, but even if I did, thinking twice would still be wise.

I am stoked for this movie. Thought about midnight showings, but I'm really getting too old for those. Last one I did it took me a couple days to recover. So I'll go see it at 10 AM Friday morning. Have tickets to see it again Saturday as well.

i took off the 18th.....i'm in the same boat as you.

last midnight movie we went to i was dying at work by 11 the next morning.

I was going to take off the 18th, but we decided to drive up to PHX to go to the Atmos theater, so we're risking saturday the 19th lol

A lot of places do 7pm showings on Thursdays now. I know the AMC near me has a show every 15 minutes starting at 7. I was able to snag IMAX tix for a 7 o'clock showing. No more need for those midnight showings
