Looking at the trailer for the Asian market it kind of looks like

As for Chewie looking like he's been botoxed (in a furry way ) it wouldn't be a shock to hear they've done some CG manipulation on his face, over and above what the mask and/or any animatronics could do.

Ok, fine. The 'gender' of a robot is a big spoiler, but knowing that Chewie, at a crucial moment, blows up a bunch of Imperials, sorry- First Order men by detonating something, that you have no problem with. Have fun staying angry then.

That's what was odd about making Yoda look so different in Phantom Menace (the original puppet before Lucas replaced it I mean, for all you young 'un's who've only seen the Blu-rays ), it was only 30+ years before we were due to see him in Empire but he was already 800 or 900, what the hell kinda difference was 30 years gonna make?!

Who knows what could have happened to him in the intervening years. Palpatine looked completely different in the space of 5 minutes!

I've always liked to imagine Yoda might have looked very different when he was (much) younger, and I think it'd be a cool reveal if we ever got a really distant prequel where he was a towering figure that looked more human with shorter ears, and that his race shrinks and stuff when they get to his eventual age. "Judge me by my size do you? And well you should not..."

As for the other bit, I think that's a terrible idea. Young Yoda, fine, but not the 'taller, more human' bit. One of the unique things about him - the whole point of the character, in fact - is that he's this all-powerful figure wrapped up in this tiny little goblin. So....no.

The "whole point of his character, in fact"? Lol, No, in your opinion maybe, but I find that ridiculously reductive (appropriately enough!). And he wouldn't be as 'all-powerful' when he was younger, that would be the point (and he was never 'all-powerful' anyway). Anyway, it's just a thought, it's definitely not terrible how I imagine it, which you really have no clue about, sorry

Because everyone knows how old Chewie is? Is that a spoiler? I'm sure it's out there in a Wiki, referenced from some novel, comic book, or Lego set, but I honestly have no idea. It's not a big deal though, just something to show the passage of time would be nice. Hell, even C3PO has his red arm, apparently.

I've read plenty on Star Wars thanks, as I'm sure you have, so I'm surprised you now seem to think nothing ever conceived in Star Wars has then later changed!!
