I am still sticking with this getting the PG-13 rating.

Wizard of Oz 3D was re-rated PG, so you're probably right.

Yeah, I think that's near the mark, I'm guessing that the
[Show spoiler]Jakku stuff when Finn and Rey cross paths is the first act, driven by BB8 holding secret plans/info about Starkiller Base that must be delivered to the rebels which is how they run into Solo, Starkiller assault is the second act when Poe gets captured by Ren (you eeeeeeeediot!), and the third act is the rescue of Poe whereupon someone may/may not die and Luke steps in to save the frickin' day.

It was changed to PG from original G.

But I do feel Force Awakens will likely be PG-13

I'm guessing that
[Show spoiler]the Millenium Falcon has been lost in the junk planet for years and when Finn and Rey come across it and activate it, it sets off a homing beacon that Han's been looking out for. He then goes after it, finds Rey and Finn and they set off on their journey together.

Great read, thanks. I have a good feeling about this! (They should totally use that line in future Star Wars movies IMHO)

Perhaps of note:

"he's"? Misdirection or a rumour quashed? Hmm.

Good stuff.
That’s not to say I’m not proud of my work, but the fact is I remember starting to shoot Super 8 and Star Trek Into Darkness and feeling like I hadn’t really solved some fundamental story problems.

Glad to see he noticed.

I did like that bit in the interview, it's one of the reasons why I had to post the link. He doesn't destroy STID or anything, but it's good to hear from the director himself that he thought it had "fundamental story problems".

STID is entertaining but yeah, it just seemed like an excuse to bring Kahn back into the ST universe. Also, that gratiuitous bra and panty shot looks SOOO contrived now!

This is a really well done supercut of all the available footage at this time. The sound edits, which are the biggest problem with trailer mashups, are about as good as can be while still using mostly original sound:

It was good but the sound edits were too distracting.

If you are correct about this, it is actually something I never considered until seeing that image.

It would also make for a very interesting plot. For me, it would call in to question what happened to Kylo to bring him to that point, and what mistakes were made by
[Show spoiler]his parents
. It would also make Darth Vader
[Show spoiler]Kylo's grandfather
!

I wouldn't mind this at all!

Agreed. There's never a way to do them perfectly without re-looping the dialogue. I like seeing all of the footage together though. It gives the best overall picture of how the final product will feel.
