I hope I manage to get a copy this time. Hopefully its limited to one per customer - not that that will stop alot of people over ordering and stopping others from getting a copy

This will likely be upped to 5,000 copies like The Blob - plenty of copies to go around. But I expect it to go much faster than The Blob so I wouldn't wait around much longer after the preorder goes up. It won't sit around for a month.

Depending on what the extras are, I'm probably sitting out this round since I was in on the first one. It would need to be some real special stuff. Funny, I used to rebuy a dvd for an EPK in another region, now I hardly ever bother to even play the extras. That's why it would need to be some crazy, knock my socks off, can't live without it knowing it exists type shit. I have no idea if that shit even exists.

Please pre-order though, the warnings are all over the place after The Blob. To wait, is not great.

If they produce 5,000, I can't see any way it will go as fast as "The Blob". The difference between "Fright Night" and "The Blob" is "Fright Night" already has 3,000 copies floating around (along with region free releases outside of the U.S.).

So no new documentary/retrospective? Disappointing. I'll pass on the double-dip, as the 2 commentaries are already available online. The Choice Cuts (deleted scenes, assumedly?) with Holland would be cool to see, but and that and a reunion panel aren't worth $35 to me. Should be a worthwhile release for those who didn't buy the first edition though.

Agreed on the font...the cover looks fantastic imo. I already own their OOP release but I am happy for those that missed out .
