I bought the first edition, but I need this edition for the commentary tracks (Yes I'm aware they are downloadable) I just have to have the new edition also.

Another one of my predictions to come through (the 3,000 limit raised to 5). Anyway, this looks like a top notch package.

Do we think this is gonna pop up on the Twilight site at some random time on December 30th, or will they be pretty systematic about it and post it at a certain time?

I'm going to be refreshing ScreenArchives site over and over on the 30th. I don't want to miss this one again because you know ****suckers will be buying these up just to sell them on Ebay for a ridiculous amount.

Only thing I hate about SA(from what I can remember)is they charge your card right away when you preorder. Or am I thinking of Synapse...

I scanned back a ways but didn't see it mentioned...has there been talk of improvements to picture or sound quality compared to the earlier release? Or are additional bonus features and the cover artwork the only significant changes?

The original release looked great the presentation was done by SONY and IMO was perfect.

Awesome! Great cover, a nice array of extras and they increased their stock to 5k units. A true 'Collector's Edition'

Nice to see the online commentaries added to the blu. I already own the 1st edition, but just might have to double-dip.

So if we upgrade, there's really no reason to keep the first edition now, right? The only thing that one had was the isolated score and that's being carried over to the reissue.

Well, I notice the first release offered theatrical trailers, whereas the second just mentions one trailer so, for the uber collector, maybe there's a reason to hold onto the first release.

As this is now a 5K release I may have a chance to nab one as I missed the first release and have been holding out for some extras.
I live in the UK so hopefully I can order this before or after I get home from work (Depending when it goes live).

I own the original release, ordered right when the preorder went live.... I am sort of tempted by this new version but not sure if I should bother.

Oh well, I guess I have a few weeks to decide.
