I'm really in two minds about it. I love the film with a passion since it was part of me growing up but it's a lot of dosh for a double dip. I don't want to sell the old one to fund it, because what if there's a new error on the reissued version after I'd sold the original? That would be a real sickener.

It seems unlikely that it won't be as good as the first release. They said they intended to make it a better edition... presumably to get people who bought to first release to buy it again.

You could probably pay for the new one (plus some) just by selling the first release.

Very pleased that this is being re-released. I am also glad that the cover etc. is different enough to differentiate it from the first release. TT has a repeat customer here.

So the extras haven't been announced? Is it for sure that it will feature those pirate commentary tracks? What about a feature length "making of" and maybe some deleted scenes? That would make it worth a double dip. Not sure if the commentaries alone are worth a double dip since if you're a big fan of the film I'm sure you already heard them.

I like the booklet cover too although I'm not fond of the 30th Anniversary border on the actual cover. The booklet cover reminded me of the Bell, Book, and Candle cover since it too uses a similar style.
