On 21st May Tom Holland will be signing the soundtrack CD and what looks to be the Dutch blu ray (the same Sony blu ray sold in Japan and European countries except the UK) at Dark Delicacies http://www.darkdel.com/store/p778/Su..._Night_CD.html and http://www.darkdel.com/store/p777/Su..._Night_BR.html

I ordered the UK version, about a month or so ago, and received it about a week later. I gave my TT copy away. The UK version is beautiful looking. Great extras too! Oh yeah, and way cheaper, than the TT version was.

The initial one is on 5 weeks and obviously will never get here. They just shipped out a new copy last week. Hopefully that one will get here.

There's a new listing at Best Buy for Fright Night. It doesn't say which version it is or who is even releasing it. Anyone got anymore info on this? It's kind of high priced if it's the remake.

Too soon to be a new release. I don't know why Sony won't release this in the states, I'd buy it day 1.

When i got Creepshow 2 from Best Buy, it was the same price. Wasn't there some speculation on whether Arrow would be releasing a version of this a while back?

Got my copy (Eureka version) from Amazon UK yesterday. I was surprised because I wasn't supposed to receive it until 6/12 and the shipping information never updated. The back of the box reads Region B, but like others have stated, I had no problems playing it on my Blu Ray player.

Thank you Dirk504 for your post. I took your word and ordered. I just received my Eureka version yesterday from Amazon.co.uk and as you mentioned, the back cover states that Blu-ray is Region B & DVD is Region 2, but yes they play perfectly on my Region A & Region 1 Oppo 103 Blu-ray Player. This is the Newly released version with 4K Digital Restoration & includes both Original Stereo PCM Soundtrack & the 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio options, which both Look & Sound Great. Price was great also, after UK to US Conversion & Shipping charges it came to a Total of $12.98 (US). It took about 3 weeks to receive. For anyone that has been waiting for this to be Re-Released in the USA & do not want to pay a ridiculous price for a used copy on eBay, just go ahead and order this as Dirk504 & I have. You will not regret it.

Mine just shipped today and I couldn't be happier knowing I don't have to worry about getting this on blu anymore.

The DVD isn't in PAL format?

So I should toss my TT bluray? I like it well enough, but if this has an upgrade, I'm willing to re-dip. I also want the steelbook, so I'm gonna be droppin tons of money on this movie LOL

Doesn't say anywhere on case or disc if the DVD is PAL or NTSC. Half of my DVD collection I purchased in the USA don't say whether they are NTSC, so I guess I'm not surprised that this DVD doesn't state it either. All I can tell you is that both the DVD & Blu-ray play perfectly fine in my Oppo 103D. Oppo does a pretty good job of Upscaling this DVD & all DVD's to near HD quality. Hope this helps answer your question.

I don't have the TT or the Steelbook versions, but here is a review that I just found that you can refer to. Probably Looks & Sounds as good as it will ever get. I know what you mean about re-dipping. Lol!

I chucked in my DVD from the Eureka steelbook into my PC and AnyDVD identified the disc as being NTSC. Also, the Region 2 logo on the disc is incorrect as most of you already know as the DVD is region free just like the BD in the set.

I just got my copy from Amazon UK a few days ago and am very happy with this release so I will be selling my copy of the Twilight Time re-release on eBay soon. The compression is superior on the Eureka release by a wide margin at least compared to the Twilight Time re-release, and when comparing screencaps to the original Twilight Time disc, the grain is also a let better, less clunky and more filmic on the Eureka release. Definite upgrade

wow, looking at the screen caps it destroys the TT releases... ordered without hesitation. there's no way I can't sell my TT copy for at least $20

this is the correct version right?
