Anyone's guess but I'd wager that this won't sell out right away given the higher print run, this has been previously released by TT, and much cheaper alternatives are available overseas.

The second run will be 5000 copies whereas the original was 3000 copies.

On the subject of FN2, anyone have the DVD? I had it, but sold it on eBay for $50. Couldn't justify keeping it. The transfer is one of the worst I've ever seen on a DVD. It looks like a VHS. And when I want to watch it again...I believe I have a copy on my computer

I was able to sell my original copy on Amazon for $40. That should be enough to cover this new 30th Anniversary edition

Did you sell Fright Night (the blu-ray) or Fright Night 2 on DVD? If it was Fright Night 2, regardless how bad bad it looked on DVD, I would've kept it anyway, since no one knows what studio currently own the rights to the film, and there may never be a blu-ray release. So therefore, you've got rid of the only format that's available, and it's out of print.

You practically gave that away because, you could've sold it for a lot more than $40.00 on ebay. After Amazon deduct their commission, and other fees, you'll get almost exactly what you paid for it. Sadly to say, but you didn't make a profit. Personally, I would have kept it, if that was case!

dunno why should someone pay alot of money for the Old release if there is a new and better release by TT for 30$ soon. not to mention that there is the sony release as well...

people keep offering me old fright night releases on ebay for trades... probably everyone interesstet in the movie knows that there is a better release avaible soon.
