Yeah sold my copy last month because I heard this was coming out and needed the to get the money before everyone heard about this and the prices dropped. Saved 35 bucks back from it just for this, bring it on. Did the same with Christine but that isn't being rereleased until a bit later. Thought about grabbing the German blus but the no lossless audio thing kind of killed it for me.

You never know - they have to differentiate it from the original release somehow. Maybe the new one will have special features but no isolated score. I also have the first release and have no intention of selling it. I will try for the new one and just have both editions in my collection.

Great news. I love Fright Night and older movies like this with a good transfer are where you really see where blu-rays shine.

I was just going to buy the DVD but since this is being re-released I might as well wait for the blu-ray now; and with Halloween and the holidays coming up, it won't feel like such a long wait either!

Now I just have to find the best bootleg blu-ray of Fright Night Part II to make it a set...
