It is going to be a blood bath on pre-orders at 3000 units, if they don't implement strict per-order limits very early in the process. This release will almost certainly break any prior sell-out pace by a Twilight Time disc.

I would highly recommend they start at a limit of 2 copies per order and lower it to one per order at 1200-1500 units left.

I heard that this will be a BD-50GB disc compared to the previous release which was a BD-25GB disc. I wonder if the transfer will be better?

I've never bought from TT before but will be on this one if I can get a copy.

How far out does TT usually start preorders. I missed out the first time and i don't plan on missing it the 2nd time around.

Most of the time it's a month before release date, but for The Blob they had the preorder go live about three weeks prior to release.

So I'd start frequenting around here 12/20 just to be safe.

I'm going to be watching this thread as well as their website like a hawk starting mid December. I missed out on the first release and don't want to promote a scalper on Ebay if this sells out real fast again.

Just sold my TT copy for $75. Didn't want to part with it initially but decided the odds are good that the new updated version will trump the old one. I hope they finally include the cast reunion taped just before the BD was released in 2011.
