There will be riots and bloodshed if Screen Archives oversells Fright Night like they did with The Blob. If I were them, I would prematurely cut it off with 100 copies left and make sure all the orders are accounted for.

This is too logical and makes too much sense, so it will probably never happen

As an alternative, I'd suggest having an accurate inventory counter.

I can't imagine what more they could do in the extras department for a re-release.

I already own the original release plus the super limited, ultra rare, retirement ahoy magnet, so do I really need this release? I don't care much about extras for any movies other than deleted scenes and alternate endings.

not really. it's the same transfer (confirmed by TT) so unless you're an extras nut there's no reason to get it

Wow, this is selling fast. Pretty crazy how even after the first 3,000 copies in 2011 plus Sony releasing it in the rest of the world, there's still so much demand for this. Fright Night be popular.

i had to order it. I have the original release. But 'Fright Night' is my very favorite movie. The video was awesome on the first release. I do wish they had fixed the audio issues though. There were times it seemed really quiet. Glad to be getting some extras this go round.

I wonder if Twilight Time will eventually release Fright Night Part 2 on blu-ray. Has anyone heard anything about the sequel?

maybe it has a slightly better encode with higher bitrates due to the disc being a 50GB Bluray now.
I can't believe they wouldn't take advantage of this and leave the other 25Gbs only for the extras..

They should have back servers for these Horror releases. They should know everyone wants to order in the first 10 minutes

I really don't think they're going to invest in back servers in order to be more prepared for literally about one hour of door-busting time a year.

lol yeah man. I was actually surprised I even have an account here. Didn't remember signing up for one at all and for what reason. I was totally ready to create a new account today to share my excitement for landing a copy of the movie and the system told me I already have an account under this email.

Excuse me if I'm not very updated with the last release, but did some people say there were audio issues with the original Fright Night Blu ray release??

I really hope with the larger 50GB storage that they would at least up the bitrate of the video and audio quality for this new disc. I highly doubt those special features would take up 25 gigs in itself.

Was watching Godfather 2 on blu ray while waiting to get my order through the system today. Now Im watching Criterion edition of Seven Samurai to celebrate my Fright Night preorder. haha... I know they have nothing to do with eachother... but landing Fright Night just gets me in the mood to watch a good movie in good quality. =D

There were no audio issues with the original TT Fright Night release. Only problem I can remember with the original blu was it didn't have good chapter markers.

Hmmm.. I can't imagine why you have the imported one too.
Maybe for the slightly better picture?
