wow, i had no qualms about paying the high price for the original release since this was one of my favorite movies as a kid, but this is pretty low to do to people who bought the first release just a couple years ago. i hope the "new features" are nothing i'll need to double-dip for...

Well, even at this point, I think you could still easily sell your original copy for at least $50 and then just buy the new one come January with some extra money left in your pocket.

i would but in that case it would be announced that SOMETHING about the new edition wouldn't be as good as the old, so i'd be kicking myself then as well... Murphy's Law

I don't think it will sell THAT quickly, since there are so many people that have bought the initial release.
Not to mention the existence of the European and Australian ones..
