Second, it all depends how good the HDR10 processing is. I bought the madVR Envy to bypass DV on BD. For ATV, I tend to use DV since it is mostly 4.0 at this point through the various streaming services. At some point I will get some hidden patterns on some of the services to validate things are working as we would hope.

It also looks like you have the original cover and then the slightly tweaked levels cover for the UHD HDR Disc. I think the 2nd replication run and beyond have the adjust cover. Or the angle you shot at just makes them look different.

In fact, they are a little different. They were sent to me like this, and it is something that I attributed to the printing of the cover of the box and disc.

It is not the angle of the photo, it is that it came to me like this from the store. You can also appreciate it on the disc.

The darker artwork is the first pressing. It was lightened up for the pressings that followed. I don't think I realized we also modified the disc artwork itself.

Will anyone be attending NAB next week? I will be there 4/15 - 4/19. (Fly out early on 4/19)

Sony should start replicating any second now. We had to modify the booklet and cover (e.g center elements). Assuming they are happy with that, it should start ASAP.

Official launch day is 5/15.

Edit: Just pre-ordered the disc along with another bias light mk2 for free shipping and future upgrade to an 83" oled (hopefully by this year or 2024)

Only in the Illuminate edition, which requires proof of membership to get that version!

Microsoft fixed the issues with the new disc and will be shipping a player update after they do some more testing and get it on the schedule. Hopefully it will be released by the time the disc hits the market. Official launch date of the disc is 5/15.

Not in the short term. People abuse Amazon and treat it as a rental service. Amazon does not verify what is returned either. I am pretty sure we have never sold a horse shoe and yet...

This was a while ago now, but didn't the Xbox consoles decode rec.2020 with the rec.709 matrix? Was that fixed?
