Mine dispatched last night too. Ah well will give it a re-watch anyway & hopefully BFI will do a replacement disc program to fix the issue for one of their big titles.

Someone at Criterion Forum pointed out Jacques Rivette's Paris nous appartient has been listed on the BFI Store to pre-order (September 24th): https://shop.bfi.org.uk/new-releases...l#.W2R4LSMrIy4

Also forthcoming is Terrence Davies' Distant Voices, Still Lives, but not 'til October. I wonder if we'll get a full set of announcements soon?

Great news! I hope they will eventually get to The Long Day Closes as well. The BFI had such a nice DVD collection of the Terence Davies films they co-financed. The Criterion is now more than 4 years old...

Does anyone know if BFI might be releasing more Bergman films after The Magic Flute and The Touch?

I received the 2015 release of The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, brand new and sealed, but it didn’t come with a booklet. Is this normal, and were the booklets limited? I’ve seen lots of copies on eBay with them, even the newer release I have, so I’m a little frustrated I didn’t get one.

Contact the BFI directly and have a word. If there are any left anywhere either on the South Bank or their Stephen St. HQ, they'll send you one.

I was confused about this as I found copies of both that and Saturday Night and Sunday Morning in HMV/Fopp stores that felt very light a while agp, as if they didn't have booklets inside. I asked BFI and they said only the first print run of the reissue will have a booklet because both have been available for years, and presumably because they figured they'd be doing the Woodfall set at some point, and if anyone really wanted literature on these films they'd be likely to get the box set.

Alternatively you could track down the older OOP edition (with the worse artwork) or try and find a copy of the first print run with a booklet (like everyone finds themselves doing during in-store Arrow promotions).

I myself have somehow managed to never buy these two titles, even when I found copies of the reissues still with booklets. I might try and get the Woodfall set (mostly for the other films in the set actually...especially A Taste of Honey and Girl with Green Eyes).

Thanks guys, I’ll contact them and see if they have any spares. I got Saturday Night Sunday Morning with a booklet a few weeks ago, and just presumed this would also have one.

FYI, It Happened Here is region free despite the Region B stickers on the packaging and disc art.

Tell them what a fantastic job they've done with the new La belle et la bete. If that doesn't get you a freebie, nothing will.......

I’ve been trying to find an e-mail address for the BFI regarding the booklet I mentioned a few posts above, but there seems to be a lot of ways to contact them. Does anyone happen to have a specific Blu-ray related e-mail address or can help point me in the right direction? I found a contact form for the BFI Southbank for example, would that be a good route?

Thanks.

I did see that address on their website, so I presume it still works, but I didn’t know if there was a better one, or if someone had a contact address on here. Haven’t tried Facebook, but that’s an option too. Thanks for your help.

Thanks! I shot off an e-mail to the BFI shop address above, so we’ll see what happens. Fingers crossed!

I received a reply from the BFI aaaaand... they’re sending me a booklet! I’m sure you’ll all be extremely relieved to hear this news! I’m a happy chap anyway, that’s very good of them to do that for me. Thanks again for the help with contact details to everyone who assisted me in my quest.
