You're better off sticking with the Winchester store, they have a much larger selection of films.
I knew it was gonna' be bad when I went in on opening day and asked the guy on the door where the blu-rays were.
"In that corner over there" came the reply, and I knew then that the store was mainly tat.

I'd like to support BFI directly but their products are usually still cheaper elsewhere even during the sale.

Does anybody have a list or a picture of the BFI titles on offer at Fopp (Covent Garden)? It would be much appreciated.

Fopp posted some fairly detailed pictures on both their Covent Garden and Manchester Twitter accounts. Covered a good chunk of the on sale titles I think.

Black Friday sale has started.

Not much here for me, prices are very meh overall. The Werner Herzog set might have me acting unwise though.

The Herzog set is a great price but all the standard films being twice the price of those at FOPP is a little dissapointing, very little choice as well.

I think the pricing is disappointing but not surprising sadly, the small choice pool is very disappointing to me. Out of my BFI get list only one (the Herzog set) is there.

I'll say it again for those that haven't jumped on it yet: the Herzog set is essential, and a bargain at £24.99. Incredible set with so much value. Most of the films are not available separately (especially now as the single editions are long OOP).

Have any of you Kickstarter backers received any emails or anything about receiving Out of the Blue yet? They said they were gonna send out surveys for delivery addresses but I haven’t heard anything and the release date is very soon if I’m not mistaken.

No reviews and it's only a few days from release isn't it.

Wonder if they're are issues.

But still cheaper than factoring in how much it would cost me for the three hour plus round trip to the 'nearest' branch to me (I'm just outside the Oyster card zone so a Travelcard is £13.20 plus bus fare to the station to buy one), which would wipe out what I'd save on Piccadilly and La Haine - which might not even be in stock there.

Still, there's always Base and Rarewaves or another HMV BOGOF next year...
