Well...if I don't wind up buying Tokyo Story...I think I just found my first BFI purchase!

I know "Obscured By Clouds"...but had not realized that it was the soundtrack for this film. A FINE early album by Pink Floyd!

Absolutely!...I rented the DVD from NetFlix a month or so ago and enjoyed it. I'll definitely add it when the holidays are well over. Tokyo Story is an important film for me and I've wanted to add at least one Ozu title on BD right now, but wonder if Criterion will be releasing it on BD in the near future?

I've NEVER seen The Valley, but I love the "Obscured By Clouds" album by Pink Floyd, so this one is a no-brainer for me!

Hey Michael... any chance that we might see the Terence Davies Collection making it to blu in the near future? I have been holding off on the dvd set in anticipation, but if its not in the pipeline, I may just go ahead and pick it up for the holidays. Thanks

Thanks for the heads up. I guess I can treat myself to the dvd box now for the holidays then. Cheers!

If I didn't have it already, I'd be all over it. I love that movie, and the blu is pretty awesome too. Just out of curiosity, why you getting rid of it?

Great blu-ray quality, but not the movie that I would watch over and over!

I've watched it twice since I bought it, and I look forward to the commentary.

Does anyone know why the Chaplin Keystone box set thats out next week isn't on Blu-ray? Seems a shame that they aren't releasing it considering the quality of the restoration and the amount of effort that has gone in to them.

I was wondering the same thing. Seems very strange. Would love these on BD.

Hey...that's a really nice package!

I'm not a big fan of the "stackers", but everyone is doing it, so you deal with it.

Looking forward to getting mine...whenever that is...seems like anyone in the US that has been ordering from the UK these days, has had to deal with delays, due to Christmas and terrorism.

Gee...that might make a great plot for a film.
