How is Zavvi's packaging on Box sets these days ?

I want the Jarman set but don't to risk it getting battered even if it is £19 cheaper than Amazon who likely will damage it anyway.

From the pics I'm assuming the Jarman set will be hardback like the Alan Clarke and Bill Morrison ones. I guess we shouldn't always assume though...

Not sure, but it looks bloody amazing. Which is even more reason for wanting the box to be in immaculate condition upon arrival.

Finally, HMV have listed An Actor's Revenge and it's in the 2 for £25 offer (I pre-ordered it with MoC's Cure).

Didn't know Jubliee contained some Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth and Throbbing Gristle related shorts so simply out of nostalgia for my teens and early 20's it's a must have (unless I suddenly find I can afford the boxed set after all)

The BFI will be releasing a new 2K restoration of G.W. Pabst's Pandora's Box in cinemas this June. I think there's a strong likelihood they'll release it on Blu-Ray as well.

Fantastic news! I was sure MoC would be the ones to bring this to the UK but the BFI will do just as good a job. Finally, we will get Pabst's most notorious work on Blu-ray!

EDIT: just checked on here and looks like they're touring it in June, so we might well get a Blu-ray as soon as July or August! Unless they delay it to develop some new extras, or there are other delays of that sort...this will be a massive HD debut so they'll want to get it right!

At this point I really would take any of our top tier boutiques releasing this, and the BFI certainly fit the bill.

This is my #1 on my wish list. This could be a great year!

Yup, and still curious to find out who's releasing The Silence of the Lambs. Would be an even bigger surprise if BFI released that over, say, Arrow or Indicator.

Anyway, great to hear about this after the disappointing news that Pabst's L'Atlantide is indefinitely delayed over at Arrow.
