Indeed: the best way to look at it is as The White Bus special edition with the other two shorts as additional extra features. It's the Anderson film and the extras that's the main reason my copy didn't go straight onto Ebay after I watched it.

Saw Cassavetes’s Shadows for the third time last night, I‘ve always admired it without really liking it but last night it clicked together a little better for me. It is still a film in which I find that some scenes work really well and quite a few others do not, but the ones that work really are quite memorable.

I also admire its almost casual subtlety in dealing with issues that are dealt with much more heavy handedly in more modern films.

Zavvi have the Ken Loach 3 film set for £14.99, but there's a 30% off code that brings it down to £11.48 including postage.

Thanks for this. It made me check my email for the link to see what they had and I bought the two documentary sets. Worked out at £10.99 each including postage so happy with that.

I already own two of those (the Streisand and the Forman), but it's likely that the BFI release will blow the older ones out of the water. Oh, well... Great line-up nonetheless.

Does anyone know yet what new features there may be on the upcoming Pasolini titles? I already own both the BFI and US Criterion editions. I'm not going to buy them all yet again unless there are some new, interesting features on them.

Is that full? If so, where's the horror double feature release? Ben Stoddart told me only last month that it was due for release 14th October. If something's gone on behind the scenes it must be last-minute rights issues, which is always troubling. And if they're not resolved soon (if at all), I suspect we may be left waiting until October 2020...

Also, any word on Nil By Mouth?

That's just the announcements to tie-in with the BFI Musicals launch, I believe.
