Thought it might've been as it's not listed anywhere else. Glad to hear it's coming though, and if it's later in the year might even be around the same times as Targets!

Anyway, I see from the BFI Facebook group that this listing is in error but One of Our Aircraft is Missing may be released at some point later in the year which would be fantastic. The BFI seem to have licensed a great set of titles from Paramount and I'm excited to see what (if anything) else they've got. Alfie and Oh! What a Lovely War would seem likely candidates, given the British interest and lack of Blu-Ray releases.
Indeed, they've picked up some cracking titles, and first time they've dealt with Paramount as far as I can tell. BFI are better at taking risks and selecting titles other labels might not - I'd love to see them do Child's Play, The Men, The Slender Thread, maybe even The Tenant...

I now have visions of Beau Bridges playing Chucky - and being a surprisingly good fit for the role.

That’s good to know, the film was on iPlayer last summer but it was a PAL master based on the runtime

I’m always discovering new German releases (some of the 4K IMAX releases most recently), there’s so many!

Which of course I didn't even know, me regarding the deleted scenes as just that rather than their excisions from the English original. Not a deal-breaker - especially since the deal was brokered long ago - but now rather puzzling to me, at least. I mean, I can't see why a scene featuring the Germans being portrayed as magnanimous in (temporary) victory over the English - thereby painting them in a gracious and positive light - would be cut for domestic German consumption. Here, yes (except it wasn't); there, no (except it was). Seems arse-to-face to me. Er......

Judgment at Nuremberg is the first BFI title I’ve received that no longer comes with a booklet - a year after its release.

Stoddart listed the titles that no longer come with booklets: The Caretaker, Heat and Dust, Shakespeare Wallah, Mr Topaze, Room at the Top, Best of British Transport Films, How I Won the War, Caravaggio, People on Sunday, Blue Black Permanent, Salo, Legend of the Witches, Varda by Agnes, Bait, Judgment at Nuremberg

Last booklet copies have been placed: Separate Tables, Beat the Devil

Some retailers may still have copies with booklets

Rogue Male can be added to that list - the only BFI title i bought from the recent HMV sale that came without a booklet. (Still waiting for Legend Of The Witches - looks like it will be my first Flipside release without booklet)

Time to get anxious about why didn’t I pick up these titles sooner when I know I like booklets!

Yes, it takes a bit of getting used to with BFI titles after years of being guaranteed one.

They seem to be releasing loads of great stuff just recently as well, so will certainly be more expensive if you want the booklets!

I don't mind NOT getting booklets with some titles, just I prefer having a complete set for the Flipside titles.

Does anyone know when Legend of the Witches/Secret Rites ran out of booklets?

If you’re on the Facebook group ask Ben, if you’re on Twitter maybe send a tweet at the BFI or maybe send an email. If you order online there’s a chance you might still get a booklet, so it’s luck of the draw.

If anyone wants to part with their Nuremberg booklet I’d be interested.

With the £5.99 offer I focused on the recent titles, some of which had only been released last September. So if I keep that strategy up, I should probably be okay with booklets, of course that doesn’t account for other titles from the last few years. And I don’t want to risk any blue cases for titles originally in clear cases either, so I’m going to have to hope HMV survive okay through the pandemic and I can just stock up on titles in store.

You win some - i had a booklet for Nuremberg / People On Sunday;

You lose some - i didn't get a booklet with The Caretaker.

These were all from HMV.

Everything in the order were 2020 titles, except Napoleon which is 2016

Maybe I should hurry up and get titles like Yentl, Betrayed, Sunday Bloody Sunday, The Good Die Young, Lynn + Lucy, Dementia, Polytechnique sooner rather than later.

I know something like Jungle Fever I’d like to get day one, as I’m working my way through Lee’s films and the available UK BDs are limited.

Judgment at Nuremberg, Cyrano de Bergerac, Scandal, Mademoiselle, Pocketful of Miracles, After the Fox

During the last offer, I bought - Spetters, The Flavour of Green Tea over Rice, Equus, Funeral Parade of Roses, Beat the Devil.

Spetters, Cyrano, Scandal are a year old at this point, hard as that might be to believe, so my instinct would be to prioritise those titles. But others like Beat the Devil aren’t far behind as it was a March release.

Thanks. Wasn't Spetters limited to 2 or 3 thousand copies? Think the bonus disc might be dropped along with the booklet. I got Spetters at Fopp in December along with Funeral Parade of Roses & a couple of other titles I can't remember.

I'm waiting for Cyrano to turn up along with Legend of the Witches/Secret Rites as those were part of the 5 titles I bought the day before most of the prices increased by £1.

Lorna Heilbron will always be Anna Grant in Blakes 7 for me. She was wonderful in that. I hope she has nice memories of it. I adore Blakes 7 - it's my favourite TV series.
