If I do go then I can hopefully get my copy of The Bodies Beneath signed by one of the authors.

Facebook:

Unfortunately due to production delays, we have to move back two upcoming releases. Seven Samurai 4K UHD & Blu-ray will now be released on 18 November. Watership Down 4K UHD & Blu-ray will now be released on 25 November. Apologies, and thanks to everyone who has pre-ordered.

Interesting that this comes not long after the delays to the Arcane UHD. Wonder if they're made at the same facilities/plants?

Has anyone ordered Short Sharp Shocks Vol.3 from Amazon UK recently?
I was wondering if the booklet is still included?

I bought volumes 1 and 2 at launch, but forgot about volume 3...

thank you

Thanks for reminding me about that one. I have the other two but I don't think I have this one (will need to check my collection properly today to see if I have it or not) & whilst I remember, having checked my BFI section (not completely in order as my DVD/BD/UHD collection is in a mess & needs to be re-organised), I also need to get a handful of other Flipside titles I'm missing as well as Ghost Stories for Christmas Volume 2. Think the latter still has booklets available as I was at the BFI for a screening of the excellent Indonesian film Crocodile Tears at the London Film Festival yesterday & had a look in the BFI shop hoping they might have had a copy of the UHD of Witchfinder General with the booklet still in it & gave the GSFC Volume 2 set a rattle which indicated said Volume 2 still does.

Whilst I was in the BFI shop I also had a look to see if there were any of The British Film Collection Network releases still available & I found a couple that I'll get when I'm there again next month as I'm trying to save money for the Mondo Macabro Halloween sale.

Think the best bet is to ask in the BFI Facebook group to see if Short Sharp Shocks Volume3 as Ben Stoddart (he's also on Twitter so you could ask there as well) is most likely to know if it is onto its 2nd pressing or not.

I picked up all three volumes in the recent HMV sale. Vols.2 and 3 came with booklets. Vol.1 for me didn't unfortunately.

From Ben in the Facebook group in regards to this:

If you want a copy of The Outcasts with a booklet, I'd advise purchasing it soon. By the time it goes into any BFI sales campaign it won't have one.

How does the encoding on the BFI release of LIFE IS SWEET compare to the Criterion? Thanks in advance.

OrbitDVD is generally reliable when it comes to this anyway, but as I preordered this with another film that is not out yet, I hope mine includes a booklet when I receive it. (LE slipcover units are obviously easier to take note of.)

The BFI should be encoded by FiM, so it should beat the Criterion.

Yeah, I was not sure if FiM did it, hence why I asked.

I preordered it from OrbitDVD, so I hopefully should get it. Just waiting for another preorder in the order to be fulfilled. We can't order from HMV here in the US AFAIK.

Ended up managing to secure an LE for $27.99 when Orbit restocked recently, but this is still great news for those who missed out, especially as the WB Blu is now OOP too.
