How come blu-ray.com never reviews BFI Flipsides; it would be nice to see a reviews of Schalcken the Painter and You're human like the rest of them.

They've reviewed quite afew of them. Well I say "they" I mean Pro-B.
Don't forget he's the only one who reviews UK releases, on top of US and other region releases. So he can't cover everything sadly. The site does need to recruit another reviewer though. To help cover UK releases. Last edited by Judex; 12-17-2013 at 08:51 AM. |

All copies of Late Spring have a sticker on them, promoting the fact that the release also includes a copy of The Only Son. Unusually said sticker is on the actual case, as opposed to the usual place of the cellophane.

quite painterly as someone said in the booklet. Kudos to Michael B too for the essay on Anna Torrent. Fantastic film. Brilliant perfromances, esp the kids. And Anna Torrent shows how versatile she is after Spirit of the Beehive. Astounding for someone so young. Haven't seen the Criterion DVD, btw, but it couldn't look this good. Most of the BFI stuff looks great, just tough when a major remaster eg Tokyo Story comes along. Last edited by cool hand bluke; 12-20-2013 at 01:17 AM. Same here. Great White Silence was my favourite Blu-ray of 2011, I must have watched it a dozen times since. If The Epic of Everest is half as good, it should be something pretty special. Very much looking forward to it.
