Am I imagining this, or did Sky not show the first season with no adverts?

I'm halfway through the first series, I've seen series one & two in SD on Sky, but looking at the Blu-ray is a revelation, the picture is stonking good, sooo much better than, The Lord Of The Rings, so much of that looked desaturated & flat & green.

I just watched the Bonus Disc (Season 3 Amazon UK Exclusive).
Interesting content! I'm glad I purchased this edition.

No idea, gave up Sky for the third and final time before that I think.

I think the pilot was shown on Sky Atlantic commercial free but I'm not sure. Once they stopped showing a repeat after midnight I've watched all the episodes on-line.

Dispatched from Amazon on the 15th (last Saturday), supposed to be delivered on the 21st (yesterday).

What's going on?

STILL hasn't arrived. Honestly thinking of contacting Amazon over this, I've never had to wait so long for something from them.

Hmm, extra £4.50? I don't know for that price, depends how much of a fan you are. It's pretty interesting seeing how they made some of the effects but you can pass on it easily.

I have a question. The GoT blu sold on Amazon uk, linked below, is that a digipack or a normal amaray version? According to the picture it is an amaray, however the exclusive edition (with the extra disc) is not (according to the picture). I have both s1 and s2 as digipack and I would hate ordering the third as an amaray. I can't order from my scandinavian retailers (Norway) since they are only selling the amaray version of GoT.

The pictures on Amazon look the same as they would for a digipack? HBO go all out and give them silpcovers too...

The Amazon US shows the GoT S3 blu ray box as a thick box set, while Amazon UK shows it as a slim amaray version. I wonder if this is a slip up from the side of Amazon UK and that they are actually selling the digipack version.

Take Boardwalk Empire as an example; You get the amarays from Amazon uk, but if you want the digipacks you will have to order from Amazon US. Which sucks... because season 2 of BE is region locked to A. =/

I think you're panicking, the US set has more discs because they also include a DVD copy, the UK release doesn't, so won't need as much space...

I think you misunderstand The amazon uk exclusive (1 extra bonus disc in a plastic sleeve) is a digipack release.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Game-Thrones...rones+season+3

However as you can see, there are two pictures listed for this item. One is a slim amaray version while the other picture is a thick digipack. I've researched a bit, so I know this version is digipack one. However I'm wondering if this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Game-Thrones...rones+season+3 is a digipack as well.
I might be overreacting though seeing as the exclusive BD had Scandinavian subtitles and the bonus disc only had a plastic sleeve. Meaning if they sent the digipack for the exclusive one, why would they not do so for the regular version as well.

As far as I know, they will both be digipacks, I brought season 2 about a year after it was released and it was still a digipack, so I don't see why season 3 would have changed already...
