Yes there are movies with codes (DVD and Blu-ray) for D-Box that are synchronized for your home theater seats. They started just over 20 years ago I believe. The company making this technology is from Montreal, Quebec, Canada...my native home province.

I'm not sure how many movies exactly total today with the codes, but I do know it's more than thousand.

* That red Maverick seat would be perfect for the 4K Blu-ray release near the end of October (my guess). By then Top Gun: Maverick will seat @ #12 worldwide...top 12 of all-time...not bad, not bad @ all. It could be before, I just don't know...yet.
• Maverick could hit that seat by the end of September, with the help of PLF.
(And it goes without saying; seat #5 of all-time domestic).

This is an extraordinary accomplishment from Tom Cruise and all the crew who contributed to this flick. It's gong to make history @ Oscars night; it's inevitable.

No I did not. But I've read quite extensively about that technology in the late 90s and early 00s. I was a subscriber for many years to Widescreen Review.
