It's even tougher to be a top movie star in Hollywood.
Moviegoers don't have those issues; they don't have to deal with millions.
Tom Cruise can team up with Mel Brooks to make Spaceballs II: The Search for More Money?

Maybe ole Mel could put in his planned "Jews in Space" segment for Tom, since it involves dogfights with spaceships.

If Cruise forces the Epix deal to pay more, that pushes Paramount to just sell the film to streamers. Could that turn into an "own goal" for Cruise, who is the face of the anti-streaming fight?

I think Tom Cruise and his friends can start their own Hollywood movie studio.
That way they'll have full control on the money they make.

As for Paramount Pictures Corporation and the people under its umbrella I don't work their books.

A deals a deal. It doesn't change because a movie did well. What would happen if a movie flopped? Another chance to change the deal?

This is what happens when you haven't watched the full ending of Mel Brooks' True History of the World, Part 1.

Ukraine Top Gun: Maverick

Quiet ... the way we like

Two weeks Maverick will hit $1.480 billion global ($715 million domestic).
This weekend projection is for $1.2 million (local...North America).

* Just recently Mojo had few problems with their numbers; for Maveric, for Spider-Man latest flick and for Avatar re-release. The numbers were way up, I mean way up by hundreds of millions. It's all fixed now, as of today.
Even in Wikipedia who follow the revenues from Box Office Mojo the numbers were way off of this world.

Just an example ...

Well, today I'm finally going to see Top Gun: Maverick! It looks like after today no more theatres close to me will be showing it anymore so I guess now is as good a time as any. In fact, I just watched the original Top Gun for the first time earlier this week! I had a chance of watching it since it first came out but never got around to it. Like many others I thought the original was okay with the best parts being the jet fighter scenes and the soundtrack.

Ukraine Maverick

This is it; this weekend Maverick will hit $1.480 billion worldwide.
And one week from now (next Thursday) $715 million domestic.

Why do I mention this? It's significant; I'll let you know next week why.
