Meh, I picked up a "Epic movie pack" at Fry's Electronics for $6.99 which includes dvd version of Gladiator and Braveheart...hooray for upconversion...as it will have to keep me at bay until they're both released on Blu.

My favorite scene is the first fight in the Colosseum (spell check?) with all the slaves. Those chariots were awesome in that scene! I like the helmet he wears too...I found one just like it at a Decorating store (go figure) that sold armor and weapons...making my halloween costume with it

yeah i love this movie so much the only thing that we can do now i just wish and watch the dvd on a upscale player

I'm recording it tomorrow night on my DVR from MaxHD, just got finished watching it on CinemaxHD On Demand and it looked great in 1080i. Now it's Mel's turn with Braveheart on CinemaxHD.

This would be a Day 1 purchase for me provided it had a lot of extras and was had TOP quality Audio & Picture...

Gladiator on Blu is definitely gonna be a must have. I just hope it's with all the features of the extended edition.

Someday soon we will get this amazing epic on BD, and I cannot wait for that day. I love this movie.
