Amazon shipping with no slips already in MN. I just returned under missing part of product. Since I used my friggin' 5 dollar digital coupon on this I will try one more from them. Not expecting it. I am buying these more and more in retail at this point because I am sick of not getting slips from Amazon.

Sorry, but I am not paying 15 bucks or more for a product without a slip. Shit is cheap enough as it is to manufacture. ****ing disc art on UHD is beyond pathetic for many films.

I posted something similar in another thread. Amazon used large paper bubble mailers, 2 of the 4 didn’t have slips, and the 2 without slips looked like they had been baking in the hot Texas sun. The artwork was wrinkled/bubbled. I sent them back!

Jesus, now I am going past this and reading "Super Troopers (1997) (20th Anniversary Edition) 4K UHD", which kind of makers sense, since it would be kind of a 15th Anniversary release by now.

I guess it doesn't help that I saw the Red Band trailer for Super Troopers 2 again the other day at a showing of Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

It's laughable to think a Sony movie would still have a slip this long after release. Especially one that Amazon accidentally dropped below $10 a few weeks after release.

That's all relative. Noticed I did not say that Invasion and Traitor are better movies, I simply stated that 'I prefer' those two over the 1997 film. Particularly when it comes to the design of the battle suits and weapons, and fight scenes in general

Once again, best way I have ever seen a flick. Audio was good too, and there are some real good HDR effects around the 25 minute to go mark when the ships break up in space and are on fire.

I swear these re-do's are gonna break me. Potter coming out of my ass, now Bayformers, and then Nolan is gonna screw with me now releasing his films. New release movies, yeah, whenever I get time...

I have to re-evaluate my opinion on this transfer. I have to enable smart LED on my TV when watching HDR movies, other wise everything looks blown out. Haven't re-watched movie with smart LED enabled but i'm sure it'll tame some of my initial criticisms with it.

Just now looking at your home setup. Love it!

Where did you get your shelves?

Thanks Maverick!

The shelves are from IKEA. I have 10 in total and the bookcase for my box sets is a Billy bookcase.

Cool, yeah one of mine is from Ikea. I love it, however, when I filled it up, they stopped carrying it. Had my wife help build one just like it lol.

Very jealous of your setup though. Wish I had a dedicated room for viewings!

Yeah some parts of the movie look great, and the grain-heavy areas expose one of the issues I have with OLED (swarming ants). Glad your buddy was floored.

I like these ikea racks because I know they will always sell them. I’ve had some for 10 years, I just keep expanding when I need more.

I appreciate that. I don’t have a TV on my main floor so I spend most of my time there. I wish I put in a bathroom when I built the house though, diapers are expensive...

I calibrated a few OLED’s for friends but I didn’t notice that phenomenon and they haven’t complained. When I have time I’ll bring over my disc and demo on their panel. I’m a grain lover so it’s possible it’s on my panel as well but maybe I didn’t notice.
