Isn't that the case with most (all?) Sony UHDs?

Anyone pick this up recently? Trying to figure out how likely getting a copy with a digital copy would be. My luck with catalog Sony titles has been about 50/50. Picked up Cliffhanger in 4K earlier this week from Amazon and it included the DC.

Surprised To see this come with digital copy? Why do they still ship them if the code is out of date? Surely all the old stock with the codes were sold?

The digital copy codes have always worked well beyond the expiration date. It's strange that they even advertise one.

Yeah I’ve seen loads without the digital code text on the front of the case but mine came from WOW this morning with it?

Gah. Every time this gets bumped I’m thinking it’s for the 25th anniversary steelbook

Come on Sony, make it happen

T'was good! Print was in pretty good condition, although the beginning of the last reel had a lot of opening snuff.
Colours were good too - it's been a while since I've seen the DVD (gasp!) and the 4K - but nothing jumped out at me like it did for Heat.
The 5.1 was interesting. The dialogue scenes were very center-speaker heavy, with very little going on in the surrounds. But as soon as music or action kicked in... Oh boy. Also that Klendathu Drop just never gets old!
[Show spoiler]Yes I'm replying to myself.

So will this steelbook have better video even for those who don't have Dolby Vision?

Cause if that's all that's added, I might as well just stick with the old copy since I can't play DV.

Depends if you think the encode on the old disc is struggling a bit with the rampant grain. I do, so I'm looking forward to a new triple-layered encode as much as I am for the Dobly taming the ridonkulously bright grading.
