The reusable bags may come in handy. My local Walmart Neighborhood Market ran out of plastic bags (California banned disposables and charges $.05 per reusable plastic bags, which they ran out of.)

My approach may be harsh, but any form of drama aids us nought in order to deal with this crisis. Talk to friends or family, but focus on what needs to be done rather that the spiral of panic and hysteria.

That's where I got them. NM has a ban on plastic bags but the ones Walmart sells somehow fell through a loophole. We had gone shopping the day after the ban took effect. Loading one bag after another I turned to my son and told him these are really nice bags. Then at the end of the self scanning it asked me how many bags I bought. Pressed 8 and OK and saw $.80 ring up.

Damn - we pay $.10 per bag.

During the next few weeks, we are all probably going to see things in our areas that unsettle us. Military convoys, armed soldiers (National Guardsmen, etc.), guns, reports of looting, etc.

For the most part, things will be fine, because the government response is likely based on predetermined and practiced FEMA strategies, etc., but we’ll have to get used to the sight of it all.

I actually never have bought the ones from the store, but I gave it a Goog and found out its $.10 per bag like your state.

I can't believe Cuomo is shutting down barbershops indefinitely in NY. Now how am I going to get a haircut?? It is "essential" that my hair gets cut every four weeks or else I'll look like a mess!
