The FDA approved a 45 min test. It'll only increase from here.
There is an article on Google news that says if its a hot spot, people are being told to just go home and self quarantine, not to overwhelm the medical people with more tests.

So, the other guy and CNN were correct.

i think the repurchase agreements from the US federal reserve were broken long before COVID 19. Federal reserve were doing QE1, QE2, QE3, QE4, QE5 since 2008.

That $1000 check in the mail is the first time they did Helicopter money or maybe not. I forget

Come on, people! Some of us actually have to buy food and other essentials items because we actually need more. Let's stop being greedy!
It's most likely because ppl went crazy and stocked up, then the ppl who couldn't that round waited for the next trucks and they ran in and stocked up just like the first couple batches of groups.

And the cycle keeps going on. Then there's the people who normally wouldn't hoard things but then do it in a panic with the mindset well what if I need more next week but they are still sold out?

People say it'll die down in a week or so when it comes to the grocery stores, cotscos, Sams etc. But I doubt it..

Yesterday ppl tried to climb into the Dollar General loading truck when it arrived by my place wanting to look for toilet paper...

That's not the same thing at all. Most people do not need to be tested, nor come to the hospital if they are mildly symptomatic. Unless you have severe shortness of breath, pneumonia, or you're a high risk patient, you're going to be told to go home and self-isolate even if they tested positive. That "other guy" also said "The US just announced" which implies a new policy change, and there's nothing of the sort.

How are they even going to give everyone the money?
I'll use it for my mortgage.

I was sick and coughing for 2 weeks in December and pretty much everyone on my belt line at work got sick to some degree. My breathing seems a little worse since then. I hope it was the virus but either way, im taking precautions and staying home besides going to work. I doubt this came to the Us within the last month or 2.

I’d wager a good 95% of customers I have had the unfortunate opportunity to speak to say this is just hoax, it’s just a cold, no big deal, my life is ruined because I had a party planned, etc etc. All the anger and frustration is taken out on grocery store employees such as myself. Like I’m sorry we don’t have your eggs, milk, toilet paper, paper towels and jam you like. We had one elderly lady (in her early 70s) get pissed off that we “caved to the lies” and that we created “an hour for elderly and at risk people” to shop. People are crying at their lunch breaks and 15min breaks too. I’ve never seen such defeated faces in my life. I don’t know how it is in other states but it’s really brought the worst out and I thought hurricane attitudes were bad.
Sorry to hear your experiences have been so bad. Things haven't been nearly as hectic in my store for the last week or so, and I haven't had a single customer yell at me. In fact, most have been very complimentary just for us being open during all of this. Yeah, there's been some grumbling about not having T.P., water, fresh meat and the like, but most people have been understanding. We're all suffering here.

In the picturesque little UK seaside town I live in most people are just getting on with it, I work in the main supermarket in town and we've had customers say some nice things (though it's sad it takes an apocalypse to get some recognition for what we do, it sure ain't rocket science or curing cancer but people are such entitled asshats) but today I had someone pull a strop. She asked for something, I literally said "no, sorry" and she said "why are you all being so short with customers, it's so bad!". I didn't dignify that with a reply but what do people expect, that we're to go around with a permanent rictus grin on our faces while we're working our asses off and potentially putting ourselves in harm's way for the good of the local community? Still, when you work in retail you always get some customer who's just having a bad day no matter if there's an apocalypse on or not.

About time you showed up here. I've tried suggesting to Sainsbury's they ask customers to donate towards a bonus fund for their employees when paying. Least we can do.

Some people seem to not mind too much ...

Wait for a week or two when they start losing older members of their families.
They will look @ those photos as a reminder ...
