I'm switching to delivery, but I also live in NYC, so your situation may differ.

If you do a search you can get some answers from medical professionals. But you can probably guess what they are saying:

Social Distancing

Wash all fresh fruits and vegetables

Wash your hands when you come home and do not touch your face until you do.

Current numbers are far from exact, especially the number infected, but it's all we got, and the important thing is too see how those numbers are trending over time so the curve will hopefully flatten soon, especially the numbers of patients in ICU.

New C.D.C. data shows that nearly 40 percent of patients sick enough to be hospitalized were age 20 to 54. But the risk of dying was significantly higher in older people

Yea I was leaning towards delivery. I'm grateful to be in a position where that is an option for me.

All you do is eliminate the Social Distancing. The other two - you have to do those:

Wash the fresh fruits and veggies then wash your hands with soap - you need to sing the Happy Birthday song while you are doing it - approx. 20 to 30 seconds.

Looks like it's going to be much higher today. Tracking daily deaths at this stage (or any stage) isn't that useful as it doesn't really mean anything. It could be 20 one day, but then 300 the next. It's the amount of people who are hospitalized, and specifically in ICU's that really matter.A small decrease from day to day of deaths doesn't really indicate any changes in the amount of people hospitalized, or in ICU.

I don't want to continue load Fed Ex trucks every morning but I guess we are too essential. My facility hasn't spoken to us about the virus or give us anything. I wish my co workers would respect my personal space but nope. Guy next to me is always crowding around me waiting to grab his packages.

I was just pointing out a few firsts, not indicating that it was the start of a trend. You're right though, the number of people in ICU is the most important figure.

You wear gloves right? What would happen if you put a mask on? Like the ones they sell at Home Depot or Loews for painting. Not for protection (they won't do that) but to sort of make a statement.

I don't. Makes it too hard to press buttons on my scanner.

Picked up my order using BestBuy's curbside pickup. Very efficient system they had going on. Just pull up, they ask your name, check your ID, and you're on your way.

ROME, March 22 (Reuters) - The death toll from an outbreak of coronavirus in Italy has risen by 651 to 5,476, officials said on Sunday, an increase of 13.5% but down on Saturday's figure when some 793 people died.

The total number of cases in Italy rose to 59,138 from a previous 53,578, an increase of 10.4%, the Civil Protection Agency said -- the lowest rise in percentage terms since the contagion came to light on Feb. 21.

Just FaceTimed with my friend that is positive.

He's been sick for about 9 days. He worked 2 of them (in the service industry, btw). He had to lie to the doctor to get tested. He felt awful but his fever wasn't high enough at the doctor's office when he went so he said that it was earlier in the day. Took 4-5 days to get the results.

He's just really run down. Fever, chills, really achy, congested, the works. He didn't cough on the phone at all. I don't believe that anyone gave him any medication.

One of his other roommates has been coughing up a lung, not wearing a mask and hasn't been tested. No fever but....

I also told him I had friends who tested positive already so he didn't feel so hopeless and alone. He's really sensitive about the fact that he has it, I can tell. I think a lot of queer people are really sensitive about testing positive for anything after AIDS. You feel like you did something wrong

Side note - it's amazing to me is how many people don't own a thermometer. I've talked to three people close to me in the last 24 hours who don't have one.

This really sounds like what I had back in December. I was sick for Atleast 2 weeks, my head was really congested and my coughing got worse at time went on. I wish I knew if that was it.
