Default I guess you are registered with the MODs as an insider.

The only explanation is that you were there and heard it firsthand.

But I am more inclined to believe that Lineproduct told you.

There is not a single mention of HDR10+ in that article, and it has absolutely no relevance to what you’re saying, this is pretty much the definition of ‘make believe’.
And where did support conversation took place, do you have a source, or it’s a figment of your imagination as well?

That's the only explanation your mind can come up with? Yikes.

How about speaking with them and asking them directly?

Your denial is a glorious thing to observe.

The link wasn't related to HDR10+, but rather to the partnership between the two companies, as I clearly stated.

This isn't really that difficult. The support for both companies is easy to contact, and both will verify this.

Correct. That information came from speaking with Samsung and Microsoft Xbox support, who literally anyone can easily contact, who were both told by their respective engineering departments that the console will support HDR10+.

You still can't read, it seems. Is this really that intellectually challenging of an exercise for you?

Unhappy I think we know why you didn’t say that when first asked

So basically you are the source. You got the information over the phone from Tec support.

So now we can compare the quality of the information, a manufactures’ Tec support or a member of the BDA, to decide who is the most credible.

I don’t think that will be a hard decision for an astute forum member.

This will also help to determine the veracity of your future posts.

Member of the BDA? If you are referring to 2themax, he has no info on whether or not the Xbox One X will support HDR10+. He has no sources with Microsoft or Samsung. You must be thinking of a different conversation.

You're more than welcome to ignore information passed down from the engineering departments to support of two companies that have partnered on many projects, including on the Xbox One X specifically.

I'll just enjoy your tears when it's announced officially at CES 2018 in January.

Technically you are correct. It’s been a long day. I was also taking in your comments about HDR10+ on 4K discs.

So it comes down to your and Lineproduct’s posts (who have an agenda) and the insiders who just post the facts.

2themax has never outright confirmed that Rudy's information is incorrect. He simply hasn't heard about it yet. Rudy beat him to the punch. It happens.

He stated that he questions Rudy's credibility due to what he perceives to be Rudy's bias in his posts. That doesn't sound like it's based on any concrete inside information to the contrary.

And if simply posting about one format more than another is regarded as "bias," then 2themax is heavily biased towards DV, which based on his logic, would be grounds for questioning his credibility.

No. I asked you where you got the idea that I'm DV biased?

The story about the Xbox One X HDR10+ support is justifiably getting traction.

It's finally up! The delay was due to YouTube having to manually reschedule the transcoding. I assume the problem was that the file is close to the maximum file size that YouTube allows

Your first link:
Quote:
The Xbox One X will support HDR10+ via an upcoming firmware update. The information has been unofficially confirmed by both Samsung and Microsoft Xbox Support. Thanks, Redditor DeadPool2 for spreading the news.
Quote:
I spoke with Samsung first. I didn’t ask them directly about the Xbox One X. I asked them which devices support HDR10+. They said that the 2017 Samsung 4K blu ray players (confirmed by an insider at AVS Forum with contacts at Samsung engineering) and they said the Roku and Xbox One X would add support in the future. Then I spoke with Xbox support to confirm, without mentioning what Samsung told me.
Does this story sound familiar.

So what do we have in common here. DeadPool2 via a conversation with Samsung and Xbox support.

So if you are also DeadPool2, congratulations, you are spreading a rumor as good as any on the internet.
