I have it turned on with HDR10 on my LG850V. Just seems to look better (set on low). Medium and high just makes it look like the sort of boosting gimmick that should be turned off.

Still nobody get the answer ^ yet? Ray (from Michigan) given you being an avid HDR watcher I’d have figured you’d caught the flick on Netflix by now given the Holidays and such.

Anyone get the opportunity to see yesterday’s Rose Bowl Parade on Channel 106 in….
Input sig: 4K60 4:2:0 BT.2020 12-bit HDR EOTF: HLG ITU-R BT.2100-0 If so, any comments as to the image quality? As to the floats themselves, this was a passing poignant moment, even in SDR – ![]() |

The past few months have been super busy between bathroom and kitchen remodeling, tragic deaths in the family, Christmas, new years, birthdays. "Bright" is definitely on the to do list. |

I've seen multiple people online and at my work that said they liked Bright more than big budget Justice League. I've seen neither so far. |

I’ve been flying alone for a long time posting about HFR…. https://forum.blu-ray.com/search.php?searchid=44535018 In detail, for example - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...r#post13558917 Not posted previously - for a little historical background for those who are probably unaware. Back in 2008, it was proposed to make something on the order of 300 fps to completely cure motion blurring. However NHK said that was impractical, ergo 100/120 fps was settled upon for the UHD TV standards. |
