HDR doesn't max out contrast and backlight anymore on Samsung tvs. It just remembers your saved settings. So if you last used backlight at 12 with HDR, that's what it'll go to when it switches over. Only if you have it saved at max, will it switch over to max. |

Has anyone posting on the threads made a public commitment to buy one of these puppies, i.e. putting their money where their interest lies? I mean serious perspective buyers should (based on experience) have at least a rough idea as to what the prices will be despite them not being officially announced yet. Heck, if you’re #1, Robert may toss in an unexpected perk. |

If 3D was supported by the Z9F it would say in the specs. It does not say, so 3D is Gunn...caput.

Is there some good news somewhere?
- Disney ditched 3D. - Disney ditched DV. - Disney ditched Dolby Atmos by compressing it. - Disney ditched James Gunn (oops, that's not bad news). Sony and Panasonic seems to be the only good news on improving HDR, but still missing some important ingredients. Yesterday I should have gone to bed; today is no different than yesterday. |
