Teaching Dolby Vision grading to locals last month with the colorist who’s graded recent projects like Sneaky Pete, etc. and did the color on restoration projects in the past like Taxi Driver and Lawrence of Arabia…

And BTW, I completely agree with your man on how HDR has transformed my viewing experience. I also agree with him on the AI thing: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...i#post16496646. There are absolutely some areas where it can make inroads but will the day come that a movie will be completely graded by an algorithm? Dunno.

All this wooden pole talk and I think the metal post is feeling rather underappreciated.
