[Top Gun: Maverick] "is a love letter to aviation".
Tom Cruise

Remembering, he also does public service announcement for movie watchers at home -

In regards to the actors to whom Tom is referring to -

Most everyone knows that Tom is an experienced pilot in real life, but something not really reported on social media is that several of the actors took flying lessons for TG:M. They started out on Cessnas, then moved up to doing aerobatics.

Kris, from your old sub days, do you recognize the locale of the image at 1m18s – 1m19s of the trailer at sunset looking down near the outlet to the ocean?
Not used to looking at it from that angle, but looks like a fly over Point Loma area. I didn't frequent San Diego that often. Spent most of my time in uniform in the Bangor Washington and Norfolk Virginia areas. When I switched over to government service I rode boats out of every port.

I’ll say one thing, those Comic-Con folks are extreme, for while we were having lunch in the Gaslamp Quarter, one fan offered me $200. for this hat I was wearing at the time - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...p#post16033627

When I declined, he went up to $250!

And they keep their uniforms, and sunglasses on, and eyes wide shut while all singing drunk on Budweiser.

Probably the telephone pole wreaking havoc on his 'Got Wood?' world tour to promote the trailer for TG2. One whiff of fame and *bam* it don't care about the little people no more.

No volleyball, but in honor of today’s col de Tourmalet stage of the Tour de France today we climbed Mt. Laguna and proceeded back down vis-a-vis Noble Canyon, at speed .

I’m beat. Only one more post in me this evening.

As I haven’t seen Waboman around recently and this has to do with past exclusive pronouncements regarding Top Gun: Maverick (https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...n#post16243793 ) -
