Look to the east for the town of Mount Vernon then drag the map to the left to find the two grey lines. Hmmm, what would be more cinematographic for a feature movie composed mostly of authentic aerial scenes rather than vfx (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_84EimN2HCg#t=6s
- no offense to Midway as it’s a period piece)…..better to follow VR1350 or VR1355? There must be some videos of fighter jet(s) on YouTube to see ridgelines, valleys and such.

Eh, if it was still in plain old 50Hz then it was a waste. Sport needs HFR, and it needs it badly.

Photo below, it's MUCH darker than the other two ^ because my camera can't get the highlights otherwise, but you see what I mean. Not the exact same frame either as the 4K60 clip cripples my OPPO if I try to step frame forward, but then those two photos ^ aren't the same frame either.

Is this content downloadable from somewhere?

On a personal note, I felt the fight scenes in JW3 were waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long. I prefer something of this duration which doesn’t stretch credibility so much…..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoerKPFg03w#t=1s

John Wick is not your regular Disney/Marvel stuff.
By the way he might join the dark superheroe world eventually.

Top Gun is about aerial choreography, John Wick is about terrestrial choreography.
John Wick is extremely stylised, that's today's charm.

If Top Gun: Maverick can make half worldwide what Endgame made that'll be the day. There's more a chance Disney buying Lionsgate and Paramount ...

Jack is no John, in the Hollywood franchise business.
Realistic doesn't sell in this business, we see it every single day.
Blowing our minds out @ the movies is what entertainment with a sign of $$$ attracts both sides of the screen ...

Tom is a stuntman, Keanu is a CGI (CG glass) actor. ...Two different styles.

mrtickle – Over lunch I enjoyed reading the discussion about the 2.4 gamma and BT. 1886 you recently had with Stacey. For some history regarding that start at ~ 35 min. timestamp on this podcast - https://taoofcolor.com/2349/podcast-...update-part-2/

and continue for about 10 min. Thing is many grading facilities have been using 2.4 with a black level set at 0 which caused some issues when viewing content on consumer LCDs, so some facilities set black level up to 0.01 - 0.03 nits, maybe as high as 0.04 on their grading monitors.

Different strokes for different folks. Personally, if I can go to the bathroom have a bowel movement then to the kitchen for a beer and return to see the same action sequence still going on in JW3 then I feel it’s way too long.
